After a long and successful career which includes: leading a team of process engineers in the textile industry; holding key executive positions (Administrative Assistant to CEO, IT Director, Operations Manager) in the cosmetic/pharmaceutical corporate world; and owning two boutique businesses: (1) management consulting (2) commercial real estate, I recently decided to break up the companies and go solo. Since I enjoy working and have no plans to retire, I am “cherry picking” a few of our services and willing to travel anywhere in the world. For a complete list of former services, See my “Services” page.
My expertise focuses on key problem areas including: project management; process improvement; re-engineering; and special research. But because of trends I began to see in the nineties and have only worsened, I have added employee surveys and motivation; team building, ethics, and mentoring to my list of services. At first glance, the list may appear long, but in reality, the services are all closely related. As a matter of fact, the success of the first three is heavily dependent on the last four.
After studying engineering for two years, I switched majors and earned a BS Degree in mathematics from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina, I quickly climbed the corporate ladder and successfully held key management positions first in the textile industry (with the world’s largest textile company) and then in the fast paced cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. My career began as a Process Engineering but in less than a year, I was given the responsibility of leading a team of process engineers serving 11 varied manufacturing and distribution facilities. A short time later I was contacted by a company moving to North Carolina from New York City and offered a position in the fast paced cosmetic/pharmaceutical industry. I began as the CEO’s assistant, and quickly became involved in all areas of the business. First project was the design and implementation of their first totally integrated information system which included financial, manufacturing, distribution, inventory control, marketing, sales, forecasting, R&D, and more. Because of my wide exposure and success, I served as Director of IT and later had the unique experience of making all the systems work in the real world as Operations Manager.
A watershed moment led me to walk away from all the glamour and financial stability to form my own management and technology consulting firm where I led a team of highly qualified professionals offering a range of services to a wide array of industries. More than ten years ago, I helped our older daughter launch a successful commercial and residential real estate business
My career and reputation were built on the ability to come into tough situations and quickly define the problems and opportunities; then become a change agent and lead organizations to new levels of technology, information utilization, and process improvements. I have a proven track record in successfully leading projects in high growth, complex, fast paced environments, and I understand the meaning of bringing successful projects in on time and within budget. My unique experience and background as user as well as designer gives me insight and understanding rarely found in a single individual. I speak your language not some computer or consulting “jargon”. My ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization has been instrumental in getting management’s and users’ buy in, acceptance and use of new processes and technology. Combining a logical “hands-on” no-nonsense approach and real-life experiences with cutting edge technology, my methodology is easily adapted to any situation across a diverse range of industries. My logical thinking and methodology will bring sharpness of focus and expertise to bear upon your unique and complex problems and create the appropriate culture and working practices required in today’s competitive environment.
My success has validated my long-held belief that there is always strong niche for someone that gives very personal hands-on attention to all projects and is serious about an ethical approach to business. You want and need the advantages of working with someone committed to…

Outsourcing to someone with my knowledge and experience just makes good business sense. You don’t have to make any long term commitments or take on any benefit responsibilities. I accept short term and part-time engagements but if needed, I will commit to a long term assignment where my general management, IT, BPI/BPR, and project management experience can be effectively utilized. Travel is generally not a problem, and I will accept engagements anywhere in the world.
